Twitter Redo

Ok, I'm back on Twitter. I realized that Twitter wasn't boring—I was boring. I followed up on the links from Kawasaki's post that I linked to in the last post and discovered some wonderful people who are doing really marvelous things with just 140 characters. It's almost like haiku. It may be the new haiku.

Anyway, one twit (or is that one twitter? Ahh … just found it–it's one tweet.) gave a link to a blogging scholarship. You can enter your blog for next year's contest. This may be too late for some of you scholars, but perhaps you have siblings or friends still in high school or here at GCSU who like to write and who might could use a $10,000 scholarship. Also, check out some of the blogs that these college scholars are writing. Very impressive. See what happens when you give people the freedom to use I and the tools to do it worldwide?

For instance, check out this post about increasing your blog (or wiki, perhaps?) traffic from one of this year's scholarship finalists Paul Stamatiou. And vote for Paul or one of the other finalists while you're at it.

Actually, here's one of my brain-storms: look at all the finalists for the blog scholarship, vote for one of them, then post a comment here to tell the rest of us which finalist you voted for and why you thought their blog was best. All IDST-2215 students should do this before the next class period. Your final grade totally depends on it. Now let's see who's reading the blog. :-)
